About DENISE LPP

Known as Founder of Denise Wine Tasting & D-LUXE Lifestyle  media platform, Lam’s artistic journey is a fascinating narrative that intertwines her diverse experiences and influences. Originally drawn to the world of translation in Paris, her academic pursuit took an unexpected turn when she developed a passion for wine. This love led her to earn an MBA in Wine from the prestigious Institut des Hautes Etudes Economiques et Commerciales (INSEEC Business School). She returned to Hong Kong to pursue a career in the wine industry and engage in charitable work.

Deeply influenced by French art and culture, Lam's painting style draws inspiration from renowned artists such as Monet, Modigliani, Zao Wou-Ki, Zhang Daqian, and Lui Shou-Kun. Over the years, she has studied oil painting, watercolor, and drawing at various art schools in France, Italy, the UK, and Japan.

In 2017, Lam embarked on a transformative three-year exploration of art history across the US, Europe, and Asia. Inspired by the works of Henri Rousseau, she immersed herself in the study of oil painting, honing her skills in cities like Barcelona, Rome, London, Tokyo, and Shanghai. Lam dedicated her artistic skills to studying jewelry design, mastering a 1:1 ratio of design and creation using gouache, which significantly enhanced her capabilities in large-format oil and acrylic painting. Her background in Chinese porcelain design further enriches her work, blending Eastern and Western aesthetics to create a unique artistic touch.

Lam also completed a certificate in art therapy in Spain and is dedicated to promoting children's art therapy upon her return to Hong Kong. Recently, she founded Empower Sen Official, a support and information platform for parents and caregivers of children with special educational needs (SEN). Denise LPP Gallery regularly donates a portion of her artworks to various charitable organizations for auction to raise funds.

Her debut exhibition took place in Ngong Ping, a picturesque highland area on Lantau Island, renowned for its cultural and natural attractions, including the iconic Tian Tan Buddha and Po Lin Monastery. This setting provided an inspiring backdrop for her emerging talent. Lam has also gained recognition for her collaborative work, notably designing a Gelato series in partnership with Dolce Wonderland, a beloved gelato factory and playground in Hong Kong.

Currently, Lam’s artworks are attracting interest from collectors, with unique pieces available for offers. Each themed artwork can be commissioned with a lead time of 9 months to a year, allowing for a personalized touch to her creations.
